INTRODUCTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HYDRAULIC ROAD BINDER BASED ON MINERAL COAL BOTTOM ASH

The use of natural aggregates with suitable characteristics for road construction presents in some regions a real problem availability or cost related to transport. However, the resources place, which are naturally unusable, can be used after treatment Hydraulic Road Binders (HRB). In this study, we propose valorize mineral Coal Bottom Ash (CBA), residue from combustion SONICHAR power station Niger, as main component an HRB.After physical, chemical and mineralogical characterizationof coal bottom ash, several proportions CBA powder cement type CEM I 42.5 were studied.
